OUR MISSION
MOAR Bike is a lifestyle. At MOAR, we design our ebikes to be used everyday, not just for weekends, or just as a commuter bike. It is the way we use our ebikes as transportation, as daily errand runner, as weekend fun and relaxation machine that drives our philosophy and our view of what an ebike should be.
When you ride your ebike as much as we do you’ll appreciate the thoughts we put into our bikes. Because we are building these bikes for ourselves, our loved ones and our friends, first and foremost.
SPEED CHANGES EVERYTHING.
We realize ebikes are not the same as bicycles, by nature of their speed. It means we need to rethink what is needed on our ebikes from the ground up.
FULL THROTTLE ALL THE TIME
Our ebikes are fun, the first thing you’ll notice when you get on our ebike is you’ll always want to go full throttle, blasting away. We recommend wearing a helmet at all time.
We want an ebike that is fun to ride but also functional, that we can use to commute to work; at the same time durable, easy to maintain and finally safe to ride in the city, with traffic.
That’s why you’ll notice these main features on ALL our bikes:
Powerful Electric Drivetrain A 48V Samsung lithium battery, similar to what is used in Tesla electric cars, one of the safest in the industry, driving a reliable and powerful 8fun motor, 500w or more. More torque and power than a lot of ebikes on the market. Which can take you up to the speed limited 20mph with silent ease.
Full suspension front and rear Two words, Ride and Handling. With the top speed of MOAR bikes easily reaching 20mph, a full suspension is a must. Besides the obvious comfort factor there are more important reasons that make full-suspension essential for any ebikes going over 20mph. The rear suspension helps tremendously with traction on the ground and lets you keep control of your bike, whether you are riding on a trail with loose gravel, dirt, exposed roots or cracked and pot-hole lined city streets. The same reason you won’t drive a car without full suspension, so does you ebike. A full suspension also reduces the wear and tear on your body and the bike itself by softening jolts and reducing fatigue on your hands, legs, joints and rear, even if you bike standing up.
Giant footprint 26”x4” fat tires on 100mm aluminum rims to go with the full suspension, for sure footed control, comfort and safety. Doesn’t hurt that you can now bike over all kinds of terrains, snow, sandy beaches and even city streets.
Rear rack Form follows function? This is one of the features that turn your bike into a practical daily commuter and errand runner. A unique sturdy rack that works with a rear suspension and is part of the design language of the bike, creating a strong statement and extending the exciting lines of the frame, allowing you to carry saddle bags for computers, groceries and other things. Handily the rear rack also houses our removable battery invisibly.
5-Level PAS (Peddle Assisted System) All MOAR bikes are equipped w LCD readouts and 5 levels of PAS. Allowing you to tailor trim your riding style and work out level as well as manage your range. Up to 40km in a single charge on electricity alone, and 80km or more with PAS. Of course we have throttle control as well.
Stopping Power What goes fast needs to stop fast. Whether you are opting for the hydraulic assisted or manual powered disc brakes. We use 180mm disc brakes front and back instead of the industry standard of 160mm, More stopping power to ensure you can stop on a dime at no time when you need to.
Horn and Turn signals Every ebike should come with these. If you ride anywhere around other people, or traffic, these should be part of the bike, not something you have to add on on your own. We have included a horn loud enough for people to hear you when you are zipping around at 25mph silently, and built-in turn signals on every one of our bikes, as standard safety feature. And these work off your powerful 48v battery, no more extra battery to charge.
In-frame waterproof wiring One thing you’ll notice looking at the picture of our bike is, where are the wirings? An ebike has lots of wirings and you don’t want to have them all hanging out there. Not just a puny usb outlet for your phone, our bike are all designed with hidden in-frame water-proof wiring pre-rigged for powerful 48v led headlights. Remember the 25mph again? So in the event that you do ride at night or in inclement weather, or wish to add our dragon-eyes headlights later all you have to do is plug into the pre-wired 48v outlet.
Long lasting Last but not least, all our frame are built like aircrafts and the more expansive premium cars, with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum. This guarantees that your Moar ebike will not rust. Big factor if you live by the coast, area with a humid climate or anywhere where they salt the roads.
The X-Fold is our first model and as the name implies, it folds into half. So all the weekend warriors can carry their bikes inside their SUVs or mini vans and enjoy them anywhere they like.
